Sopore Police arrested 01 Drug Peddler, Codeine Phosphate and banned tablets recovered
Sopore, Jan 11: Acting tough against the drug peddlers, Sopore Police arrested one drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
Police party of Police Post Watergam on Naka duty arrested one drug peddler in Rafiabad area when the arrested person was moving in suspicious circumstances at Ladoora Crossing.
The arrested drug peddler has been identified as Qaiser Ahmad Dar S/O Ghulam Hassan Dar R/O Ladoora Rafiabad.
12 bottles of Codeine Phosphate and 4 strips of SPASMOPROXYVON Plus was recovered from the possession of arrested person.
Case vide FIR number 09/2021 U/S 8/22 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Dangiwacha and further investigation has been initiated.
Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling will be dealt strictly as per law.
