Don’t call superstition a good innovation
(Ubaid Akhoon)
Allah has strictly forbidden spending in vain in the Quraan, even saying, the extravagant spender will appear in the court of Allah as a sinner on the Day of Judgment
Behold, the squanderers are, indeed, of the ilk of the satans – inasmuch as Satan has indeed proved most ungrateful to his Sustainer (Surah israh verse 17)
Translation by Mohammad Asad
we could say that the extravagant spender will appear in the court of Allah as a sinner on the Day of Judgment
Everything except man operates on the firm laws set by Allah. . Everything in the universe has a set of rules. While reaching the stage of its completion …. Similarly, there is a set rule of nature for human life the person who follows this rule succeeds in this world and the person who deviates from this set rule of life is left useless and meaningless
When we talk about superstitions, many questions arise in our minds as to what we call right and what is wrong, while good and evil are not hidden things, but consciousness is in the nature of man.  The Qur’an describes this fact in other words: فَالھَمَهَا فُجورَھا وَتقواهاَ  means that ‘ the human soul has been inspired by Allah to know good and evil’
There are all kinds of people in the society ie rich, poor, middle class, etc … Everyone is living according to the provisions and means prescribed by Allah … Similarly, in other routines of life, every class has its status he uses his income accordingly, but the methods of use should not be such as to offend anyone, nor should it become a new custom in the society or to put it another way, we should establish a society free from extravagance. We must take the initiative to do so … If we fail to do so, we will be the victims of misguided behavior in society and we will have to be accountable in the eyes of future generations.
Our society is deeply entrenched in non-Islamic customs and traditions, and due to its long association with other culture, it has adopted many irreligious customs and traditions. Some are marriage ceremonies, some are childbirth rituals, some are climatic rituals. Rituals of shroud and burial hence Rituals are seen everywhere. There is no sign of Islamic civilization and culture anywhere.
Among them are the rituals performed on the occasion of marriage, which have nothing to do with Islamic civilization. In these rituals and customs, Islamic teachings are openly disregarded and illegal acts are performed are given
There is no doubt that innumerable and abundant blessings have been created for man in this world. Therefore, it is necessary for man not only to take full advantage of them, but also to give thanks to Allah, the Lord of Glory. Now, if the question arises as to which is the greatest and highest blessing, then the definite  answer is that the straight path is a unique blessing which has a higher status than all other things. Every human being desires to be looked upon with respect in this world and to be destined for Paradise in the Hereafter as well. Achieving success in this world and in the hereafter is only in the teachings of  true religion . It is the only religion that covers every need of man. Allah, the Exalted, has revealed the secret of man’s success in following the Messenger of Allah. In the present age, innovation is spreading so much against the Sunnah that the common man is left in a state of turmoil and suspicion about the true religion. It has been made extremely difficult for a common man to recognize the Sunnah, while Islam has guided mankind at every turn, be it happiness or sorrow.
The Blessed Prophet (Pbuh) exists in the form of a blessed example of goodness for all matters, beliefs, worships, morals and customs that occur in human life but in the present era, muslims are surrounded by customs and superstitions, especially in the Indian subcontinent. Which is clearly against Islamic teachings
The Noble Prophet (Pbuh) brought the perfect religion and conveyed it to the ummah in its most perfect and perfect state. Now if a person brings something new in the religion which is not proven by  sahi Ahadith , it will be bid’ah (innovation ) , and every innovation is misguidance and every misguidance will lead man to hell.
The Muslim Ummah today is engrossed in fabricated rituals and innovations, leaving behind countless Sunnahs. And there is an urgent need to revive the dying Sunnahs instead of innovations, and to guide the people in the right way. Numerous innovations spread in our society have nothing to do with Islam, Sharia, the Holy Prophet, the Companions, the followers and and the narrators. These  innovations were invented after the departure of the Holy Prophet.
One of the disadvantages of marriage superstitions is wasteful spending and extravagance, people spend lakhs of rupees on wedding invitations for show a off, lakhs of wedding halls are being procured and tens of items are being arranged in food, glorious ceremonies. superstitions prevailing in marriage  is that they are spreading immorality,  nakedness.
It is seen that not only bands are arranged in wedding halls. Even DJs and semi-nude women have started dancing Don’t we know that dancing and singing has nothing to do with Islamic civilization, it is actually the civilization of the enemies of Allah and His Messenger, our marriage functions should be free from all these superstitions, things like music, band baja, DJ and semi-nude dance invite the wrath of Allah .
The issue of honor and ego has been made in the society, while in Islam it is commanded to make marriage simple. On the occasion of marriage, no food of any kind is sunnah , wealth is the trust given by Allah, it is commanded to pay the dues and spend it in religious affairs. With regard to marriage, the general Muslim community needs to be told that marriage is an act of worship and that every Muslim is bound by the method of the Prophet (Pbuh) for worship. Most Muslims do not consider marriage an act of worship, with the result that they consider themselves independent of the Shariah when it comes to marriage.
In Islam, it is strictly forbidden to imitate others, even if a person imitates another nation, his resurrection will be with that nation on the Day of Judgment. Yes, dowry and other rituals are the religion of non-Muslim society.  Muslims should be told that resemblance to others is not allowed in Islam.
Voices have been raised for years to end the superstitions of marriage  . But it seems to have no effect. There is a need to use social boycotts as a weapon to curb superstition.
Now Eid is also coming. Considering the current situation, don’t be extravagant, be content as much as you can and help the poor generously
Keep in mind that without fear of God and a sense of accountability in the Hereafter, one cannot give up things that are against the Shari’ah. Let the scholars and preachers instill in the Muslims the spirit of fear of God and thought of the Hereafter..
God-filled i roam, speaking what truth i see
No fool for priests, nor yet of this ages fry
My folk berate me, the stranger does not love me:
Hemlock for sherbet I could never cry’,
(Alama Iqbal Bal-e-jibril-018)
