27-Year-Old Man Goes Missing in Kishtwar, Family Appeals for Help

Kishtwar, March 10 (KB) – A 27-year-old man, Anoop Kumar, son of Girdhari Lal, has been reported missing from his shop in Dhar, Tehsil Drabshalla, District Kishtwar. According to a missing report lodged by his younger brother, Deeraj Kumar, at the local police post, Anoop was last seen on the morning of March 9, 2025, at around 7:00 AM.

The police have registered the case in the daily diary of Police Post Drabshalla under DD No. 16 dated March 9, 2025, and efforts are underway to locate him.

Anoop Kumar is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, fair-skinned, and was last seen wearing a red jacket and black trousers. His sudden disappearance has left the family deeply distressed, prompting them to seek public assistance. year

Speaking to news agency Kashmir Bulletin, his brother Sachin Kumar urged authorities and the public to help in tracing Anoop. “We are extremely worried about his safety. We request anyone with information to come forward and assist in locating him,” he said.

The family has appealed to the administration, local police, and residents of the area to help in the search. Anyone with information regarding Anoop Kumar’s whereabouts is requested to contact the nearest police station.(KB)
