Srinagar, Feb 11 (JKNS): Member of Parliament Er Rasheed, in his first speech in Parliament, demanded a probe into the killings of Waseem Ahmad Wagay and Makhan Din and sought a tunnel for Machil and Gurez.

In his 30 second first speech in Parliament, MP Er Rasheed, as per the news agency JKNS, said, we all must be aware and must have read the newspapers about the killings of Waseem Ahmad Wagay and Makhan Din. It must be investigated. The blood of Kashmiris is not cheap.

He further appealed to the Government of India to provide a tunnel for Machil and Gurez, stating that during the harsh winter, these areas remain cut off for about six months and are left at God’s mercy. (JKNS)
