5 Residential Sheds gutted in Maloora, Shalteng fire incident

Srinagar, Feb 14 (JKNS): Late Night fire damaged five single-story residential sheds in Maloora Shalteng area of Central Kashmir Srinagar district on thursday late night.

Officials told the news agency JKNS that the fire erupted around 10:01 PM on thursday at Maloora Shalteng, where five residential sheds were engulfed by flames.

Soon after recieving information, fire and emergency service officials rushed to the spot to contain the fire, they said.

The fire caused severe to partly damage to roofing, furnishing, bedding, and household goods. While some belongings were completely destroyed, officials added.

Fire and emergency services managed to bring the flames under control, preventing further destruction. However, the cause of the fire was not immediately known, they said. (JKNS)
