Below Normal rainfall expected in August, temperatures to stay higher than normal
Monsoon rainfall this month is expected to be ‘below normal’. No strong Western Disturbance is expected to visit J&K for the next 15 days at least.
Jammu region may see good showers during the next 2 days, however, some parts may still end up in ‘below normal’ category.
Against normal rainfall of 292.9mm (between 01 June and 02 August), J&K has received only 262.4mm of rainfall. Rainfall deficiency stands at 10%.
