Srinagar: Anjuman-e-Sharei Shiayan led by Aga Syed Mohmmad Hadi organized a one-day Entrepreneurship Awareness Workshop on Saturday at Imambargah Aayatullah Yousuf (RA), attracting students, young entrepreneurs, and professionals from across the Valley. Hujjat-ul-Islam Aga Syed Mohmmad Hadi Al-Mosvi presided over the event.
The workshop aimed to encourage youth to explore innovative business ideas and contribute to the region’s economic growth.
Distinguished speakers included Dr. Jameel A Khan, CEO of Rural Business Incubation Centre, SKUAST Kashmir, who highlighted opportunities in rural agripreneurship; Mehraj Khalid Lankar, Founder & CEO of Graphstats Technologies, Bangalore, who spoke on IT and digital marketing; Dr. Irfan Bisati, Professor of Fruit Sciences and Co-Investigator HADP, who discussed agriculture and allied sectors; Dr. Rukhsan ul Haq, CEO of Chinar Quantum AI, who addressed technology, innovation, and AI; Dr. Azmat Alam Khan, Registrar SKUAST Kashmir, who guided students on diverse career opportunities; and Aftab Shalla from J&K Bank, who explained the bank’s credit policies for government-sponsored schemes.
Shahid Abbas Mir, COO of Chinar Quantum AI, hosted the session. Speakers emphasized innovation, perseverance, teamwork, ethics, and the importance of financial literacy for young entrepreneurs.
In his closing remarks, Aga Syed Mohammad Hadi Al-Mosvi encouraged participants to embrace self-reliance and ethical entrepreneurship, calling it both an economic and moral pursuit.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session and a commitment to continue strengthening Jammu and Kashmir’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
