 Bharat Jodo Yatra resumes from Pantha Chowk, Read Details Here

 

Srinagar, Jan 29 (KB): The ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra, reached Srinagar today for its final leg and grand finale program at the Clock Tower Lal Chowk Srinagar. The yatra, which began in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu on December 15th, 2022, is set to end today with a flag hoisting ceremony at the Clock Tower Lal Chowk Srinagar.

 

Reports reaching the Kashmir Bulletin–(KB), said the yatra resumed its journey from Pantha Chowk in Srinagar today and is making its way through the city, with a break at Sonwar Chowk, flag hoisting ceremony at Lalchowk and halted at Cheshma Shahi road. “The yatra is said to be welcomed by a large crowd of supporters and hoardings of the yatra are displayed almost all over the route.”

“The grand finale program is scheduled to be held at the Clock Tower Lal Chowk Srinagar. A traffic advisory has been issued for citizens in and around Srinagar city as the yatra will pass through the city. People are requested to cooperate with the traffic police and follow the traffic advisory for the smooth conduct of the yatra.”

 

“The government has made strict security arrangements for the yatra to ensure the safety of the participants and the general public. The police and paramilitary forces have been deployed along the route of the yatra, and a close watch is being kept on the situation.” (Kashmir Bulletin–KB)
