Bisma Yaseen: a Overwhelming artist from Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district

Bisma Yaseen an artist hailing from Srinagar. She is interested in art since school days, She Possess a strong sense of art and forward thinking that is consistently displayed across all her art pieces.
“I am completely a self-taught and sketching , painting, calligraphy I have been passionate about through out my life, while being busy with studies I have loved and done every work related to art so easily.” Bisma said while talking with Kashmir Bulletin (KB)

Talking to Kashmir Bulletin (KB), she said “I had to choose a different stream only because of the reasons of owning quite negligible mediums for the same here. Maximum people here, who are interested and passionate in making carrier in this field either have to move out of state , number of whose are minimum, or have to split their ways from this profession due to the mentioned reason.”

“I too had no concept of carrying it as a profession or study related to it that time, as here, our society , our elders just focus on us to opt for the carriers that are quite common and have been passing on to heritages. I too had to choose the same wherein I recently completed professional bachelors degree from Jamia Hamdard University” she said while talking with Kashmir Bulletin (KB)
She urged government to provide more and more mediums and forums and be a support and encourage the youth.
Bisma has recently completed professional bachelors degree from Jamia Hamdard University New Delhi. Kashmir Bulletin (KB) team wishes her all the good luck in the future.―(Kashmir Bulletin)
