Anantnag, Aug 11 (KB): A 12-year-old boy, the only brother of four sisters, died in a road accident in South Kashmir’s Anantnag on Sunday, sources said.

Reliable sources told the Kashmir Bulletin (KB) that the accident took place near Mattan, Anantnag, when a minor boy was hit by a tractor, leaving him critically injured.

The boy was later identified as Faisal Ahmad Wagay, son of Javid Ahmad Wagay, a resident of Akura. He was rushed to PHC Mattan, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Sources confirmed to KB that the boy was the only brother among his four sisters, and after hearing the news, a shockwave swept through the area.

Moreover, police have taken up the investigation. —(KB)
