Bridge collapses at Heerpora, Shopian; Locals Allege Contractors Carelessness

Shopian, 19 Sep (KB): Bridge that connects Dachnoo village of Heerpora area with Mughal road at Heerpora collapses due to heavy load on Thursday morning.

Reports reaching to news agency Kashmir Bulletin said that a bridge that connects Dachnoo village of Heerpora with main Heerpora collapses due to heavy load of dumpers that were carrying Mecdamization material for Dachnoo road.

Locals alleged that due to contractors carelessness who construct bridge lead to this damage.

“We urge authorities to initiate the investigation and book the culprits”, locals said. (KB)
