Budgam Accident: IGP, Div Com Kashmir, other senior officials Visits Injured BSF Soldiers at SMHS Hospital

Srinagar, 20 Sep (KB): The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir along with the IG BSF Kashmir and other officials, visited the SMHS Hospital this evening to inquire about the health of soldiers injured in the Budgam accident.

According to a statement issued by a government spokesperson here to news agency Kashmir Bulletin reads that, the IGP Kashmir, Div Com Kashmir expressed deep concern for the well-being of the injured soldiers. He interacted with the medical staff to ensure they were receiving the best possible care.

Additionally, the IGP offered words of encouragement to the injured and assured them of full support during their recovery, it reads.

On the occasion, Medical Superintendent of SMHS and other medical staff briefed about the treatment being provided to the injured jawans. He informed that the specialist physicians along with other staff are monitoring the condition and treatment of all jawans for their fast recovery.

They were joined by the Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, SSP Srinagar, SSP Budgam, DC Budgam, and other senior officers.

This visit comes in wake of a tragic bus accident in the Waterhal area of Budgam district, which resulted in the death of three (03) BSF soldiers and injuries to many others. (KB)
