Are you looking for the cheapest 1.5GB data plan for your smartphone? We’ve listed down some of the most affordable plans across Jio, Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and BSNL that offer 1.5GB of data per day. These prepaid recharge packs also offer additional data benefits such as unlimited voice calls, free SMS, and more. The most-affordable 1.5GB plan that you can get from Jio right now is priced at Rs 199, while Airtel, Vi, and BSNL offer similar data for as low as Rs 299, Rs 249, and Rs 68 plans respectively. Here’s a quick look at their respective benefits, in addition to 1.5GB data, and validity:

Rs 299 Airtel recharge plan: data and benefits

Bharti Airtel has one of the most expensive entry plans if you’re looking for 1.5 GB of data per day. The Rs 299 prepaid plan is the best you can get from Airtel. This plan offers 1.5 GB of data per day, which is reduced to 64 Kbps if you cross the FUP. The validity of this plan is 28 days, along with unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day. You also get other benefits such as 30 days free trial of Amazon Prime Video Mobile, Rs 100 cashback on FASTag, 3 months free Apollo 24/7 Circle, a 1-year subscription to Upskill with Shaw Academy, free Hello tunes, and a free subscription to Wynk Music.

Vodafone Idea Rs 249 plan: data and benefits

Vodafone Idea has multiple plans that offer 1.5GB per day data, but the most affordable is the Rs 249 plan. It offers 21 days of validity, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS per day. The post FUP internet speed is 64 Kbps. The plan also gives customers free access to Vi Movies and TV.

The carrier also offers a Rs 299 plan, which is similar to the Airtel Rs 299 pack. You get 28 days validity and extra benefits such as free 2GB data additional data, free night data usage from 12 am to 6 am, and the ability to carry forward Mon-Fridays unused data to Sat-Sunday.

Rs 199 Jio recharge plan: data and benefits

Reliance Jio has a Rs 199 prepaid plan that offers 1.5 GB of data per day. This plan offers a validity of 23 days, which means that you get a total of 34.5 GB data. The internet speed post FUP will be reduced to 64 Kbps. Users also receive benefits such as unlimited calling, 100 free SMS per day, and a free subscription to Jio apps.

Jio also offers a more affordable Rs 119 prepaid plan, which has a validity of 14 days, and offers similar benefits as the above plan, but with 300 free SMS only.

BSNL Rs 68 plan: data and benefits

BSNL doesn’t really offer any great 1.5 GB data per day plans, as most of its competing plans offer 2GB data per day. However, if you’re looking for 1.5 GB data plans, then you could try the Rs 68 plan from BSNL. It’s not the best plan, but you do get 1.5 GB of data per day and a validity of 14 days. The plan is still a lot cheaper when compared to plans from other telcos. If you repeat the recharge to get 28 days of validity in total, the plan is still cheaper than the competition. However, this plan only offers 1.5GB of data per day and no other benefits.

Cheapest 1.5GB per day data plan

These are the best and most affordable 1.5GB recharge plans in India from Airtel, Jio, Vi, and BSNL. While they all offer similar benefits, it’s the validity that holds the key here. BSNL Rs 68 recharge plan will only last a fortnight, whereas Vi and Jio plans offer 23 days and 21 days validity respectively. The Rs 299 Airtel plan comes with the longest validity.
