Cluster University and Kashmir University postponed exams amidst heavy snowfall & bad weather

Srinagar, Jan 30 (KB): The Cluster University Srinagar and the University of Kashmir have announced the postponement of all exams scheduled for tomorrow (31 January) due to heavy snowfall and inclement weather conditions.

Reports received by Kashmir Bulletin (KB) state that all exams of both universities scheduled for January 31 will be cancelled because of the ongoing heavy snowfall in the Valley.

According to a notification issued to the Cluster University of Srinagar, a copy of which is with KB, reads: “All exams of the Cluster University Srinagar scheduled for January 31, 2023 have been postponed due to inclement weather. Fresh dates for the postponed papers will be notified separately.”

Additionally, sources from the University of Kashmir report that due to continuous snowfall across Kashmir, all exams scheduled for Tuesday, January 31, 2023 have been postponed. The Controller of Examinations, Dr. Majid Zaman, has stated that the fresh dates for the deferred exams will be notified separately. (Kashmir Bulletin, KB)
