Coaching centres sealed in Bandipora for violating Covid Appropriate Behavior

BANDIPORA, Jan 10, KDC: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr. Owais Ahmad, a joint team of officers lead by Tehsildar Bandipora Sheikh Tariq today inspected several Coaching Centres in the town to take review of the implementation of Covid Appropriate Behavior.

The team comprising of officers of the Education and Health Department sealed several coaching centres that were operating in violation of the government orders.

Tehsildar said in person teaching has been banned till further orders to safeguard the lives by stopping the further spread of Covid-19.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner has urged people to follow CAB in letter and spirit. He said the graph of virus is going up in the country and hence we need to be extra cautious to avoid a third wave.

Dr Owais said the administration will not tolerate any violation of CAB and action shall be taken against violators.

Meanwhile the district administration launched a massive awareness campaign afresh, asking people to follow CAB.

District Information Centre Bandipora, Municipal Council Bandipora, Revenue, Education and Health Departments jointly launched a mass awareness campaign in the district. (KDC)
