Srinagar, 30 Oct (KB): In view of cold weather conditions in Kashmir Valley officials on Sunday said, new school timing to be announced on monday.

Talking to media persons Director school education Kashmir Tassaduq Hussain Mir said, in view of cold weather conditions we are issuing a rescheduling of classes/ (school timing) from 1st of November, order regarding the same will be issued on Monday.

Winter vacations are always subservient to weather conditions, if weather goes well then we will continue the class work in the month of December as well, he said.

After two and half years our schools have reopened, so we have dedicated this year to academic excellence to overcome the learning gaps which happened during the last two years, he said

Tassaduq hussain said, remedial classes are being conducted in government as well as private schools to fulfill learning gaps.

So, If weather advisory permits, we will continue the classes in the month of December as well, if there will be early snowfall then the government will take steps to keep students safe from cold wave, he added .(Kashmir Bulletin — KB)
