District election officer suspends Dy CEO Kishtwar

Kishtwar, 26 Sep (KB): The District Election Officer Kishtwar has placed Deputy Chief Education Officer Kishtwar under suspension for alleged dereliction of duties.

According to an order issued by the District Election Officer, a copy of which is in possession of news agency Kashmir Bulletin reads, Whereas, Mr/Sh. Masood Ahmed Qazi, Deputy Chief Education Officer Kishtwar has been found to have left the headquarter without prior permission. This has affected the Govt. functioning including Election work.

Pending, further enquiry for his dereliction of duties, the said officer is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect, it reads.

During the suspension period, he shall remain attached in the office of Sub Divisional Magistrate Marwah. ADDC Kishtwar shall hold enquiry and submit report within week’s time, the order issued by the District Election officer reads. (KB)
