Doda: Dr Jamsheed Ahmad Assistant Professor English GDC Chatroo has been awarded Indo Asian Teaching Excellence Award 2021 in English Fiction. The award would be presented to him by IMRF Institute of Higher Education and Research, a registered research organisation with Govt of India NITI Aayog Darpan.
He shall be awarded on 5 October 2021 in an online award ceremony.
It is pertinent to mention here that Dr Ahmad has more than ten national and international publications to his credit. Besides that Ahmad has presented more than 30 papers in both national and international conferences.
He is an internationally acclaimed orator and has delivered lectures at various national and international platforms.
Dr Ahmad was shortlisted for this award on the basis of his short stories which were published in different international journals during the year 2020-2021.
On this feat Principal GDC Chatroo Dr Ashaq Hussain and other faculty members congratulated Dr Jamsheed and assured to the general public of this far flung area that the college shall continue to work and strive for the betterment of the students at large.
