Driver dead, 15 pilgrims injured in Jammu road accident

Srinagar Feb22 (KB): A bus driver was killed while 15 other sustained injuries after a tragic bus accident occurred in Jammu district on Saturday.

An official source told Kashmir Bulletin said that the incident took place when the pilgrims were returning from the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra. dead

The vehicle, carrying the pilgrims, plunged into a gorge in the Manda Zoo area, leading to one fatality and 15 injuries. The driver of the bus died on the spot.

Rescue operations were swiftly carried out by the police, and all injured have been safely evacuated and shifted to nearby medical facilities for treatment.(KB)
