Family Claims Murder After Woman Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances at In-Laws’ Home in Kralpora

Kupwara, Feb 02: A woman died under mysterious circumstances at her in-laws’ home in Tangwari area of Kralpora, Kupwara, during the intervening night.

Reports said that the 27-year-old woman (name withheld), a resident of Tangwari Lone Harri Kralpora, passed away under suspicious circumstances at her in-laws’ house.

The deceased’s family has alleged that she was murdered, citing her strained relationship with her in-laws.

Following the allegations, police have registered an FIR (No. 4/2025) at Police Station Kralpora, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of death.

The body has been shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kralpora for medico-legal formalities.

Meanwhile, police have assured a thorough probe into the case.(ANH)
