Fire breaks out at SDM Office Tangmarg, Firefighting underway
Srinagar, Feb 28 (KB): A fire broke out at SDM Office Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district in the evening of Friday, prompting instant action from Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES) Tangmarg and Command Sopore.
We have received the fire call at 19:34 hrs, whereupon fire tenders were deployed within a minute at 19:35 hrs, an official told news agency—Kashmir Bulletin (KB).
“The one-storied pucca building with GCI sheet roof was damaged as the fire was being contained by the firefighters”, he said.
The reason behind the fire is still unknown, but no casualty has been reported yet.— (KB)
