SHEHER-E-KHAAS MARATHON 2022
First time in the History Marathon in Downtown In which Sadia Tariq International Wushu Gold medalist was invited there as a Brand Ambassador of the event.
First of its kind ever in Kashmir, Sheher-e-Khaas Sports Fraternity in support of Shaher-r-Khaas Traders and Manufacture’s Union JK Sports Trust organized a national level marathon in Srinagar Sponsored By Decthlon Sports . The objective of the event was to spread awareness about the health benefits of sports and to increase grassroots participation in sports. Renowned marathon runners and prominent sports personalities are expected to participate in the event.
The marathon was scheduled for Sunday 25th Sept 2022 and was flagged off from Eidgah at 7 am. A rehearsal of the run was be held on 24th Sept morning.
- The run was open for all competition and participants who could compete irrespective of their age. The marathon was been categorized in groups of Professionals, Seniors, Boys and Girls and the run will cover a total distance of 7 Kms. The aspiring participants were supposed to register online through the link given.
The event was attended by reputed sports guests members of civil society. The marathon was having ample hydration points and proper medical facilities. All participants was provided with bib, refreshment and Digital Certificate. People especially students were cordially invited to participate in the marathon.
