Applications on the prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates (Domicile of J&K UT) (Not in Service/Retired/Non-PSC), for engagement against the following Faculty positions, (Discipline specified against each) on Academic Arrangement basis under S.0364 of 2020 Dated. 27-11-2020, initially for a period of three years, extendable upto maximum of six years or till such time posts are filled up by the competent authority on regular basis in terms of Government Order No. 672-JK(HME) of 2022 Dated.. 19-09-2022 whichever happens earlier for establishment of Govt. Medical College, Handwara:-
The applicants must have to attach the self-attested Photostat copies of the below mentioned documents, with their application forms:- MBBS/M.Sc.& MD/MS/DM/DNB/M.Ch/P.hd/D.Sc/BDS/MDS etc. qualification certificates of the respective specialty, (May also refer in this regard the respective eligibility criteria column as above). Marks Certificate of the respective degree especially Marks sheets/ certificates of each year of MBBS/M.Sc.
A contact Number must be indicated on the application format. The application of Faculty members already working in Medical Colleges of UT on Academic arrangement basis shall be considered only after production of NOC from the respective Head of the Institutions. The applications should reach to the office of the Principal/Dean Government Medical College Srinagar (Main Office) by or before 23rd December, 2022 to 15th January, 2023 upto 3:00PM.
The selected candidates shall have to execute an agreement that he/she will not leave the Department before the completion of three year’s contract. However abandoning/termination of the arrangement in the Specialty will require one month’s prior notice on either side, failing which the salary shall not be paid for one month to the incumbent which shall always remain in deposit with the Department and shall be released on completion of sanctioned term. No application of the in-service candidate shall be entertained in terms of S.0 364 of 2020 Dated. 27-11-2022. The applicants must attach the application fee receipt of Rs. 500/- (Five hundred Rupees only) in the form of pay-in-slip in favour of Post Graduate Welfare Fund (SB-28894), Govt. Medical College, Srinagar.
