Kupwara, Aug 28 (KB): An encounter broke out in the Khushal Tangdhar area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara on Wednesday, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir Bulletin (KB)that a gunbattle has started between militants and security forces in the Tangdhar area of Kupwara district.
He said that as the security forces received a tip about the presence of suspected militants in Tangdhar, Kupwara, a cordon was launched, which later led to a gunbattle.
