Guns rattle Jammu’s Udhampur, encounter breaks out
Srinagar, Aug 06 (KB): A gunbattle broke out between terrorists and security forces in the Basantgarh area of Udhampur district on Tuesday, sources said.
Top sources told the Kashmir Bulletin (KB) that an encounter broke out between a group of terrorists and security forces in the Basantgarh area of Udhampur district.
They added that as the security forces approached the suspected spot, the hidden terrorists opened fire, triggering an encounter.
Further, the exact number of terrorists is yet to be known, and more details are awaited.—(KB)
