Homechef Season 3 Unveils Kashmir’s Culinary Stars

Srinagar, Oct 23 (KB): In the third season of Homechef Season 3, the staple food culture of the region mingled with new and popular tastes at a time when some of Jammu and Kashmir’s finest culinary talents came together.

Dhara co-presented the contest with Khyber Himalayan Trout, IHM Srinagar, and the Ministry of Tourism as its backers, who showed exemplaryexemplary talent among home chefs in both baking and cooking categories.

In the baking category, Yasmin Kaunsar won the coveted ₹50,000 for her masterpieces, and Ishfaq Rashid was a close second as well, taking with him ₹10,000. In the cooking category, Rukhshar Hussain won the prize money of ₹50,000 for her kitchen wizardry, and Amarjeet Kaur came off second best, too, taking with her ₹10,000.

Highlighting local ingredients such as Khyber Himalayan Trout, Homechef Season 3 did prove the beauty of Kashmir as a food destination.

Organised in association with IHM Srinagar, the event showcased local food culture and goodly and talented home chefs in the region are growing in numbers.— (KB)
