Srinagar, Oct 08 (KB): Peoples alliance for Gupkar Declaration with Congress and other parties in Jammu & Kashmir have set up a committee comprising senior leaders of different parties to chalk out future strategy regarding the inclusion of non-locals in the revised electoral rolls of J&K.
PAGD spokesperson and CPIM Leader M Y Tarigami in a statement, issued here to Kashmir Bulletin — KB, said that, As decided in the meeting attended by senior leaders of various political parties under the chairmanship of Dr Farooq Abdullah at Jammu on 10th September, 2022 to set up a committee to chalk out future strategy on the issue of any attempt of manipulation and inclusion of non-locals in the revised electoral rolls of J&K, it reads.
After mutual deliberations and consultations, the committee has been constituted with Justice Hasnain Masoodi MP as convenor, it added.
Statement further states that, Other leaders in the committee include Raman Bala, Sheikh Ab Rehman, Rattan Lal Gupta, Hasnain Masoodi, Dr. Mehboob Beg, A S Reen, Gulchain Singh Charak, Chowdhary Lal Singh, Manish Sawhney, Hari Singh, G.M Mizrab, Muzaffar Ahmad Shah and I D Khujuria, Reads a statement.(Kashmir Bulletin — KB)
