IUST Suspends Classwork, For Watching PM’s Morning Webcast

SRINAGAR: The Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora (IUST), has issued an order to suspend all classwork on Monday. This decision is in light of the “Viksit Bharat@2047-Voice of Youth” National Level event organised by Niti Aayog.

As part of the directive, classes at both the IUST main campus and constituent colleges will be temporarily halted.

The purpose, as per the university order, is to facilitate students’ attendance at the Prime Minister’s webcast scheduled for 11th December 2023 at 10:30 AM.

Heads of Departments are urged to motivate faculty, staff, and students to actively participate. The webcast link will be shared by the Directorate of IT&SS.

It’s important to note that examinations will proceed as planned

Pertinent to mention, the Prime Minister’s speech is slated for 10:30 PM, coinciding with one of the most significant decisions on Kashmir by the Supreme Court of India regarding the reading down of Article 370.
