Terms and Conditions:-
1. Out of 04 Members of Child Welfare Committee in a district, one has to be a women and another an expert on matters concerning the Children. 2. Candidates who have already worked against any of the above positions will not be eli gible if found to have applied for second consecutive term. 3. Eligible candidates will he evaluated on the basis of qualification, experience of work
with the Children and the personal interaction by the Selection Committee. 4. Last date for receipt of application shall he 16th day from the date of issuance of this
advertisement notice.
5. Candidates shall he in the age group of 35 years to 65 years as on 01-01-2023. 6. Selection/Appointment shall he governed in accordance with the provisions of juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015 and the Jammu & Kashmir Juvenile
Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules 2021.
7. The person who on selection will he appointed as Chairman or Member of Child Welfare
Committee shall have a term of only three years from the date of appointment.
8. The person who will be appointed shall be paid such sitting allowances as prescribed
from time to time under the Jammu & Kashmir Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of
Children) Rules 2021. No other allowance shall be admissible. 9. Cases of mis-representation/manipulation of records / documents shall be liable for prosecution.
10. Incomplete applications or applications received after the stipulated date shall be reject- ed. The applications of the candidates who do not possess the prescribed qualification shall be rejected.
11. Candidates shall submit along with their application, certificates of all relevant qualifica- tions and certificates of all experiences which they possess. If any qualification certifi- cate or experience certificate is not annexed with the application same will not be con- sidered if produced subsequently.
12.
The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final in the matter ancillary and inci- dental to the selection of the applicants as Chairman or as Members of the Child Welfare
Committee. 13. If a candidate applies for more than one position, same shall be clearly reflected in the
application at its relevant para. 14. If any candidate applies for both the positions, he/she will be assessed for both the posi-
tions on the basis of criteria for the selection by the Selection Committee. 15. Candidates are required to submit the printed copy (hard copies) of the application along
with self-attested copies of relevant certificates / documents in a sealed cover to the Directorate of Mission Vatsalya, First Floor, Haj House, Rail Head, Jammu/SDA Colony, Bemina, Srinagar within 15 days from the date of issuance of this notice.
