Kashmir’s Higher Reaches Likely to Receive Light Rain/Snow Today: MET

Srinagar: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir, predicting light rain and snowfall in various parts of the region over the next week.

 

According to the forecast, February 10 is expected to be generally cloudy with a possibility of light rain/snow at scattered places in Kashmir, mainly over higher reaches of North and Central Kashmir, as well as isolated places in Jammu Division.

On February 11, the weather is expected to be generally dry, with light snow at isolated higher reaches. The period from February 12 to 14 is predicted to be generally dry.

 

However, from February 15 to 16, the weather is expected to be generally cloudy, with light rain/snow at isolated places. February 17 is predicted to be generally dry, followed by generally cloudy weather with light rain/snow at isolated places from February 18 to 19

 

The Meteorological Centre has advised tourists, travelers, and transporters to follow administrative and traffic advisory.
