Kulgam administration conducts freskskin operations ahead of polls
Kulgam, Sep 16 (KB): As, in wake of the forthcoming polls, freskskin operations were conducted at many places in the district under the supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kulgam.
“Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) National Highway, Mumtaz Bhatti, KPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DYSP) Rajesh, and Station House Officer (SHO) Kushab oversaw the operations,” officials in the knowing things informed the news agency—Kashmir Bulletin (KB).
He said, the fresk skin operations focused on key areas, which included Qaimoh, Khudwani, Wanpoh, and the National Highway, and other locations. These measures fall within the district’s efforts to make sure that law and order is upheld, thereby ensuring a secure environment for voters and candidates.
Such operations are deemed important by officials present at the occasion. “Our highest priority is that the elections be conducted peacefully and securely. We intend to ensure safe surroundings for all those who will be involved and to protect the democratic process,” he added.—(KB)
