Kupwara Admin Orders Closure of Schools Till Mar 17

Srinagar, Mar 15 (KB): After various district administrations, now Kupwara administration has ordered for closure of all educational institutions in multiple high altitude areas in the remote north Kashmir district.

“In view of incessant rains/snowfall District Administration Kupwara has decided to close all the schools in Machil, Keran, Budnambal, Kumkadi, Jumagund and upper areas of Karnah till 17-03-2025,” reads a notification, as per news agency Kashmir Bulletin.

The decision follows after similar measures taken by Ramban, Kishtwar and Bandipora administration (for Gurez), though for today only. (KB)
