Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ has been a victim of cancel culture and the film is facing boycott on social media even days after its release. Harry Parmar, who plays Kareena Kapoor’s boyfriend in Advait Chandan’s directorial has something to say about the ‘Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha’ controversy. Despite low box office numbers and negativity around the film, the actor is optimistic about Atul Kulkarni’s story.

Harry feels, “This ‘ban’ or the ‘boycott’ thing is a sham. I think people will go and watch the film and they are going to like it as well. I know people will have different opinions about the film as it is a remake of a Hollywood film. Comparisons are bound to happen, but when the audience will see the film in totality, it is good and they will throng theatres. I am very much sure of that.”

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Raksha Bandhan’ clashed with ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ and it failed to impress the audience. On being asked about two films with star power releasing on the same day, Harry says, “‘Raksha Bandhan’ and ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ both have different genres and time and again we have seen that when two big films are released on the same date, they have done well for themselves. So there shouldn’t be any comparison between both the films. And I wish both the films do well at the box office as we need good films and collections to keep afloat. I am a part of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ so I want this film to do well but my wishes are for both the films. It is necessary for the Hindi film industry to give more hits and collect good numbers at the box office.”
