Mirwaiz Kashmir Umar Farooq Bereaved, Father-in-law Passes Away

Srinagar, Feb 27 (KB): Dr. Ghulam Sibtain Masoodi, father-in-law of Mirwaiz Kashmir Dr. Moulvi Mohmmad Umar Farooq, passed away on intervening Wednesday and Thursday night.

Masoodi, as per family had not been doing well for quite a long time. He was the brother of MLA Pampore Justice (Retd.) Hasnain Masoodi.

Meanwhile it has been learnt by news agency Kashmir Bulletin that the funeral prayers for the departed soul will be offered at Jama Masjid Srinagar after Zuhr (afternoon) prayers, and the body later on to be buried at his ancestral graveyard in Khrew Pampore. (KB)
