Mining Overman and Overman (Magazine)
Full-time regular Diploma in Mining from an Institute of repute with minimum 60% (For SC / ST / Land-oustee – Minimum 50%) marks and Overman Certificate of Competency under CMR from DGMS for coal (under The Mines Act, 1952). Valid First Aid Certificate issued by Institutes recognized by DGMS.
Mechanical Supervisor
Full-time regular Diploma in Mechanical/ Production Engineering from an Institute of Repute with minimum 60% (For SC / ST / Land-oustee -Minimum 50%) marks.
Electrical Supervisor
Full-time regular Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering from an Institute of repute with minimum 60% (For SC / ST / Land-oustee – Minimum 50%) marks.
Vocational Training Instructor
Full-time regular Diploma in Mining from an institute of repute with minimum 60% (For SC I ST I Land oustee Minimum 50%) marks and Overman certificate of competency under CMR from DGMS for coal (under The Mines Act, 1952). Valid First Aid Certificate issued by Institutes recognized by DGMS.
Mine Survey
Full-time regular Diploma in Mine Survey / Diploma in Mining Engineering / Diploma in Mining & Mine Surveying from an Institute of repute with a minimum 60% (For SC / ST / Land- oustee – Minimum 50%) marks with Survey Competency Certificate issued by DGMS.
Mining Sirdar
Inter/ 12th Class Certificate from an Institute of repute with minimum 60% (For SC / ST / Land-oustee -Minimum 50%) marks with valid Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS for Coal (under The Mines Act, 1952) and Valid First Aid Certificate issued by Institutes recognized by DGMS.
Salary Procedure for NTPC Recruitment 2023:
As given in the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will get fixed monthly payments of Rs.50000 for all trades except Mining Sirdar. The fixed monthly consolidation pay for Mining Sirdar will be Rs.40000.

Selection Procedure for NTPC Recruitment 2023:
As given in the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2023, the selection procedure is mentioned below.
Eligible candidates will have to undergo a Written Test followed by a Skill / Competency Test, as detailed below:
1st Stage: Written Test: In the first stage, a Written Test of a Total of 100 marks, comprising multiple-choice questions, covering relevant subjects/disciplines, will be conducted. The duration of the Test will be between 1 to 2 hours. Each question will have equal marks and negative marks will be deducted for wrong answers. The qualifying marks are 40% marks in the case of the General/EWS category and 30% in the case of SC/ST/OBC candidates. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit at an approved call ratio for 2nd stage Test.
2nd Stage: Skill / Competency Test: In the 2nd stage, a Skill / Competency Test of a total of 100 marks in the respective discipline will be conducted. The qualifying marks are 40%marks in the General/EWS category and 30% in the SC/ST/OBC candidates. The candidates shall be selected on the basis of their merit in the Written Test, subject to the condition that the candidate qualifies in the Skill / Competence Test.
Test Center: Both the 1st and 2nd Stage Tests shall be conducted at Test Centres in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The address of the venue will be notified through the admit card.
