More Than 2 Lac Aspirants Appear in JKSSB Panchayat Secretary (VLW) Exams Across J&K, Provisional Key Announced

Srinagar, Dec 10: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) Sunday conducted exams for the post of Panchayat Secretary/Village Level Worker under Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Department.

The OMR-based exam, as per news agency Kashmir Scroll, saw appearance of more than two lac aspirants for a total of 1395 vacancies.

The exams were successfully held across the centres set-up across Jammu and Kashmir.

Notably, the Recruitment agency on Sunday evening only announced the answer keys for each series (A, B, C, D).

“Any candidate having objection(s) to the answer key, may submit his/her objection(s)/representation(s) in respect of such question(s) on prescribed format/proforma annexed herewith as Annexure “B” along with the documentary proof/evidence substantiating the claim (hard copies only) and a fee of Rs. 200/- (in the form of demand draft) per question (refundable in case of genuine/correct representation/objection) in favour of the Accounts Officer, J&K Services Selection Board”, the Recruitment agency said in the notification.

“In case, the objection is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised accordingly in respect of all candidates. No candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her objection individually.”

“The objections/representations can be submitted in offline mode only, in the office of JKSSB, CPO Chowk, Panjtirthi, Jammu/JKSSB, Zamzam Building, Rambagh, Srinagar on three working days starting from 11-12-2023, during office hours only. The Board shall not entertain any such representations/objections after the expiry of the stipulated period or through any other mode”, it said further. (KS)
