National Investigation Agency Recruitment 2025: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Investigation Expert (Consultant). There is just one opening. The candidates chosen for the position mentioned above will receive their monthly compensation, which will be determined by deducting their basic pension from their last pay received at the time of retirement (last pay drawn – basic pension = remuneration). The selected candidate will be engaged for a period of 01 year with the provision of an extension maximum of upto 05 years or the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier. The selected candidates will be placed at the NIA Branch Office, in Chandigarh.

In accordance with the official notification of National Investigation Agency Recruitment 2025, aspirants should hold a Graduation degree along with a minimum of 10 years experience in handling criminal investigation çases or intelligence work or counter-terrorism. The committee will conduct walk-in interviews with the qualified applicants before choosing them. According to the official National Investigation Agency Recruitment 2025 notification, Candidates who meet all the respective requirements may appear for the Walk-In-Interview. The walk-in-Interview which held on 10th and 11th Feb 2025. The candidates need to bring all the relevant and supporting documents along with them to the interview venue.

Salary for National Investigation Agency Recruitment 2025:

The National Investigation Agency Recruitment 2025 candidates will receive a monthly salary in accordance with the MHA OM dated 09.12.2020. The compensation will be determined by subtracting the basic pension from the last pay received at the time of retirement (last pay received minus basic pension = compensation).

There won’t be any further allowances. However, on an official tour, TA/DA will be allowed.

To be eligible for the National Investigation Agency Recruitment 2025, candidates must be retired inspectors, Dy.SP, Addl SP, SP, or an officer of the Central Police Organisation (NIA, CBI, NCB, IB, Cabinet Secretariat, CAPF, NTRO, Customs Income Tax, DRI, etc.) and State Police.
