Old rusted ammunition found in JK’s Samba village
Samba, April 25 (KB) Border Security Force (BSF) recovered old and rusted ammunition from an open field near the village of Kamore in Samba district, officials said here on Friday.
According to Kashmir Bulletin, the discovery was made at around 1100 hours by personnel deployed at Border Out Post (BOP) Tanwar under the jurisdiction of Ramgarh Police Station.
The troops noticed a rusted box containing old rounds scattered in the area, said an official said.
He said that security forces have placed the area under watch, and further investigation is underway to determine the origin and age of the recovered ammunition.(KB)
