Srinagar, 12 Oct (JKNN): A meeting of Co-ordination Committee of Engineers Electrical Employees under chairmanship of Er Pirzada Hidayatulla, General Secretary JKEEGA was held today at JKEEGA Office Bemina .
During the meeting some employee representatives raised the issue of suspension of Assistant Director Planning.
The high handedness exhibited by MD KPDCL was unanimously decried in unequivocal terms. The AD concerned has not only been harassed, but suspended by the said
MD to satisfy his ego.
The irony is that the entire Planning Section was locked to spread the panic among the employees.
While briefing representatives of various associations it was given to understand that employees are aggrieved of such an unwarranted action by MD KPDCL.
Further it was briefed that instead of being rewarded for attending their duties even beyond the official hours / holidays, employees are rewarded like this.
Coordination Committee has approached Principal Secretary Power and Advisor (Worthy CS) to intervene and revoke the suspension order in the best interest of work culture as such steps aim at demoralizing the cadre which if not addressed may result effecting cordial atmosphere of KPDCL.
