Six persons involved in stabbing incident at Badamwari, Rainawari, Arrested; Srinagar Police

Srinagar, Mar 30 (KB): Police on Wednesday said that they have arrested six persons involved in stabbing incident at Badamwari, Rainawari two days before, officials said.
Police spokesperson as per a statement issued to Kashmir Bulletin–(KB), said that on 28 March in the evening hours, a scuffle broke out outside Badamwari between the two groups comprising of young boys, over a trivial issue, wherein at the begining two boys had a small quarrel with each other and lateron two groups took their sides.
The fight ended in the stabbing of one boy resulting in serious injuries to him, while as other boy also sustained injuries in the incident. The injured were later on operated upon SMHS Karannagar and SKIMS Soura hospitals, respectively. Those injured were: Tariq ahmad sheikh, S/O Bashir Ahmad, R/O Radpora Khanyar, Arshad Ahmad Sheikh, S/o Ab Radhid Shiekh, R/o Hamda Kadal Shiekh Colony Hawal.
The spokesperson further said that, In this context Case under FIR NO 19/2022 U/S 307, 325,147,148 IPC Stands registered in Police Station Rainawari. Many suspects were apprehended for questioning.
Moreover, during questioning, following 6 persons were prima-facie found to be involved in the commission of crime and have been arrested today; Danish Ahmad Sheikh, S/o Mustaq Ahmad, R/o Sheikh Colony Hawal, Farhan Ahmad Mir, S/o Ghulam Nabi Mir, R/o Kak Mohalla Nowhatta, Shahzib Altaf Ahangar
S/o Mohd Altaf, R/o Gojwara Nowhatta, Arbaz Ahmad Bhat, S/o Mohd Altaf Bhat, R/o Maqdoom Sahab Nowhatta, Tavqeer sidiq Gojree, S/o Mohd sidiq Gojree, R/o Radpora khaniyar and Waseem Ahmad Dar S/O Ghulam Ahmad Dar R/O Kakamohalla Nowhatta.
He also said that, other accused persons, who were part of either of the two groups are being identified and will be arrested in due course. (Kashmir Bulletin–KB)
