Soldier killed, Three injured in ongoing Kishtwar encounter

Srinagar, Sep 13 (KB): A soldier was killed and three others injured in an ongoing encounter with terrorists in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar district on Friday.

The clash erupted today during a cordon and search operation launched by security forces following an intelligence tip-off on  presence in the area.

‘’The identity of the dead soldier has not been confirmed yet, while injured personnel are being treated in a hospital’’, sources told news agency—Kashmir Bulletin (KB).

Operation is still ongoing, with forces trying hard to neutralize the threat from the terrorists.— (KB)
