SSP Sopore Urges Public to Reach Out Directly for Assistance

‘Assures genuine issues will be resolved on time’

Sopore, April 22 (KB): In a bid to strengthen the relationship between the police and the public, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sopore Iftikhar Talib has issued a public appeal urging residents of Sopore to feel free to contact him directly for any kind of help or to share vital information.

The SSP as per Kashmir Bulletin emphasized that the police department is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of every citizen and that proactive public cooperation is crucial in maintaining peace and security in the region.

“I am available to assist you at any time. Whether you require help in any genuine matter or wish to share information concerning law and order, do not hesitate to reach out,” the SSP stated in his appeal.

He added that his doors are always open for the people of Sopore and that timely information from the public can play a significant role in preventing crime and addressing community concerns.

The SSP also highlighted that such communication can help bridge gaps, improve service delivery, and ensure a more responsive policing system.

Residents have welcomed the move, saying it encourages transparency and builds trust between law enforcement and the local populace.(KB)
