ACP Kishtwar holds plastic waste collection Campaign at Palmar, resolved the long pending dispute of Panchayat Ghar lower Palmar B.

Kishtwar 05, Oct: District as well as the local Administration kishtwar under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today conducted multifarious activities to celebrate the 5th day of the Swachhta Pakhwara with great enthusiasm and fervour.
A cleanliness drive was conducted here at block Palmar under the close supervision of Assistant commissioner Panchayat (ACP) Kishtwar Zakir Hussain in presence of BDC chairpersons Palmar Lalita Devi, DDC member Dool-Palmar Tahir Masood, and BDO Palmar Saima Ramzan,locals and other PRI members under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrut Mohatsav” wherein the plastic waste in and around the Block office palmar and other offices were collected and disposed off properly.
Besides this the locals were were also made aware of the clean india Campaign on the occasion.
Soon after, ACP Kishtwar along with BDC chairperson, DDC member and PRIs visited the panchayat ghar lower Palmar B and amicably resolved the long pending issues of the
Construction of abundant work there.
Meanwhile, similar cleanliness activities were also conducted by various Departments in their office premises.
MC Kishtwar conducted the cleanliness and sensitization drive at various places of township and educated the passers-by about importance of maintaining cleanliness near the residential areas in town and also taught them about the proper way of disposing of the household wastes.
At District Hospital Kishtwar under the guidance of Medical Superintendent District Hospital Kishtwar Dr Parveez Iqbal Wani, a cleanliness and sanitization of the hospital premises was conducted by active participation of all the staff members of DH kishtwar.
At HS Poochal proper hand washing demonstration, at HS Cherhar and GMS Wasser palmar with the active participation of school students cleanliness and plastic waste collection drive was conducted by school Education Department.
Cleanliness drive for Water bodies was also launched by District Youth Services and Sports Department as a part of Swachhta Pakhwara under the aegis of Azadi Ka amrut Mohatsav at various Springs and natural water bodies of Binoon area of block Bounjwah.
