Srinagar, 05 December (KB): The Kashmir Tourism Directorate stated on Monday that the government’s priority is to add more and more activities to stimulate winter tourism in Kashmir.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function in Srinagar, Director Tourism Kashmir Fazlul Haseeb said, our primary effort is as Gulmarg is traditionally open and our top most priority is More and more activities to be done in Gulmarg.
Our step two is Yousmarg and Doodhpathri destinations where some problem of registration is currently and we are on it to solve it, he added.
We want grand celebration on a happy new year in Pahalgam on the 31st of December, these are all winter preparedness we have done.
Our new destinations are Yousmarg and Doodhpathri we are currently focusing on that, at least some sought of initial and basic siking cources youth services and sports must intoduce there, Haseeb said
Kashmir is a blessed destination, let law and order situations be good and promotional campaigns run good i am sure everything will be good related to tourism, he added. (Kashmir Bulletin — KB)
