Srinagar; Mar 28 (KB): Srinagar police on Monday said that they have arrested two persons and have recovered charas like substance from them.
Police spokesperson as per a statement issued to Kashmir Bulletin–(KB), said that yesterday on 27 march about 9:30 pm, During Naka checking at Lasjan one I20 car was stopped for checking, two suspicious persons were found in car, while checking a charas like substance was recovered from their possession. 
He also said that, both accused were arrested on the spot.In this regard FIR No.48/22 U/S 8/20 NDPS act registered in P/S Nowgam aganist the two accused namely: Imran Mushtaq Sheikh S/O Mushtaq Ahmad Sheikh R/o Batwara, and Mufazul Huq S/O Mohammad Ayoub Akhoon R/o Shivpora Batwara.
Moreover, Srinagar police continues to endeavour to curb the menace of drugs. In this regard the cooperation of citizens is solocited.Citizens should report any drug/narcotics related activity noticed by them on the narcotics helpline number 9596770550.
