Srinagar, Aug 28 (KB): The weather in Kashmir Valley, particularly in the mountains of the northern area of Sonamarg, has undergone changes in the past few days, as it is now blanketed by a carpet of snow.

Reports reaching the news agency—Kashmir Bulletin (KB), indicated that previous weather updates from the meteorological department had already predicted light snowfall in the upper reaches of the mountain areas of the valley.

The prediction came true as a white carpet covered the top reaches of the Sonamarg mountain range.

Regarding the snowfall, KB received videos showcasing the captivating visuals of Sonmarg’s Vishansar Trek Point, where clouds were seen drifting over the snow-covered mountains, adding more beauty to the white peaks.

Additionally, the visuals offered a fantastic view of the amalgamation of chilled weather and the captivating environment within the Sonamarg area.

Such weather conditions attract visitors, especially foreign tourists, who come to enjoy this enchanting environment.

The mercury has dipped slightly, providing great relief to the inhabitants of Kashmir Valley from the scorching sun. (KB)
