Woman Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances at In-laws House in Pampore, Parents Allege Domestic Violence

Irshad Ahmad

Srinagar, Mar 07 (KB): A woman was found dead at her in-laws house at Lalwani Mohalla Pampore, on Friday morning, with her parents alleging domestic violence by husband as the possible cause.

The parents of the deceased, talking to news agency Kashmir Bulletin, claimed their daughter faced physical and mental abuse for six months, primarily from her husband, who they allege demanded money from her.

They dispute the possibility of suicide as claimed by the in-laws, pointing to injuries on her head, face, and body as evidence of foul play. “If it was suicide, why were there so many wounds on head, face and other body parts? Why did they inform us so late?” questioned the grieving family, explaining that she had died on 7:30 AM and they informed about it almost three hours after. dead

As the probe continues, the family seeks justice, urging authorities to ensure the culprit is brought to justice. (KB)
