Social activist and founder of Aab E Rawan a non profital NGO, Mr. Muneeb Masoodi condemns the brutal acid attack on a girl in Srinagar.
“I am extremely disheartened and anguished by news of an acid attack on a young girl near Wantpora Hawal Srinagar. I sure Jammu & Kashmir Police will track the culprits and bring them to book under Section 326 A of IPC lays down the punishment for acid attacks”, he said.
The minimum punishment is 10 years’ imprisonment. It can extend up to life imprisonment with fine. I stand with the victim and her family and will reach out personally, he said.
