Mehbooba mourns Zawoora’s death, extols his commitment to party
Srinagar, 26th January: The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti has expressed her deepest condolences on the death of senior party leader and former MLA Shopian Abdul Razaq Zawoora.
“It is with great grief that i learned of the passing of Zawoora sahab who was not only a trusted friend of Mufti Sahab but also a deeply committed party leader essentially connected with the ground,” Mehbooba said.
Hailing his commitment PDP president further said that Zawoora sb, as former MLA and party leader in public service for almost four decades, dedicated himself to the welfare and prosperity of his people and District Shopian.
“His demise is an end of an era of creed of politicians who selflessly served the masses. I would deeply miss his advise on the organisational matters of Shopian. It’s a personal loss for me and the party, ” Mehbooba added.
In her condolence message Mehbooba Mufti has prayed for strength to the bereaved family and eternal peace to the departed soul.
