Reliance Jio has launched the cheapest data pack in the world at just ₹1, making it easier than ever before for its subscribers to get a data boost. This data add-on pack was rolled out silently on Tuesday night. Primarily aimed at low-income users, this ₹1 data pack is cheaper than a water sachet, which usually costs ₹2-5, depending on the location and the brand.

Interestingly enough, this data add-on will get you 1GB of data for ₹10, which is 50% cheaper than Jio’s 1GB data add-on which now costs ₹15. Jio’s 100MB plan is also unique in that no other telecom provider offers anything similar, at these prices. For instance, Airtel offers a 3GB data plan that costs ₹58 with 28 days validity, while Vodafone Idea charges ₹19 for a 1GB plan with 24 hours validity.
